what we do
Guru Harkrishan Foundation is poised to embark on a pioneering journey, setting a global precedent by spearheading the initiative to make Sikhism the first religion in the world to actively strive towards achieving a zero-carbon footprint. Our efforts are centered around three key areas:
Sustainable Initiatives
We launch and support a variety of sustainability projects, from renewable energy installations in Gurudwaras to eco-friendly langar practices, aiming to reduce the carbon footprint of Sikh communities worldwide.
Environmental Education
Through workshops, seminars, and digital content, we strive to raise awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability. Our educational programs are designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to make a positive impact on the planet.
Collaboration and Advocacy
We collaborate with environmental organizations, policy makers, and religious groups to advocate for green policies and practices. By uniting voices for the cause, we aim to amplify our impact and encourage widespread adoption of sustainability measures.
